Museum curators around the world are taking part in #AskACurator day, and will be on Twitter all day on 16 September to answer questions.
So far 963 museums in 49 countries are taking part, with specialists in art, history, archaeology, antiques, natural history, geology and more.
Museums interested in taking part can sign up to offer their expertise and will be added to the list of participating museums.
Mar Dixon, who runs the day, wrote on her website: “#AskACurator is open to everyone: museums, galleries, National Trust, theatres, and more. You can ask anything that you’re curious about or want more information on.
“It’s a way to talk to curators and people who work in cultural venues you normally don’t have access to.“
