We are committed to supporting those who work in and with museums to realise their potential and their career aspirations.
As part of this commitment, we’re pleased to offer a programme of Career Conversations, where individual members of the MA can book a one-hour online discussion slot with Tamsin Russell, our workforce development lead.
Whether you are looking to join the sector, experiencing a career interruption or looking to make a change, taking the time to explore your journey in a safe and supportive space can make all the difference.
This cycle of our Career Conversations programme is now closed for new enquiries. If you would like to register your interest for future cycles, please email cpd@museumsassociation.org with your MA individual membership number.
Over the last five years I have had the pleasure of having nearly 400 career conversations with museum colleagues. They have been at different points in their careers: from those leaving school and discussing courses, to those experiencing redundancy and exploring what might be next, and those who know where they are going but just need time to reflect on the details. I have enjoyed every single conversation and the satisfaction rates have been high, so I am looking forward to engaging with everyone again this summer.
