What attracted you to this post?

I saw it as an amazing opportunity to start a museum from scratch, with all the challenges that such a project brings. Plus, it meant I could walk to work.

Future career ambitions?

In the short term it is to set up and make the Kent Police Museum a success. In the longer term, I would like to do something in building conservation.

Qualifications

I am a qualified archivist and have an MSc in historic building conservation, so working in a museum is a first for me.

Other posts held

I have worked extensively at archives in Kent, including at Canterbury Cathedral and the Kent History and Library Centre. Before taking on this post, I was working at Lambeth Palace Library.
