What attracted you to the post?
After 10 years as a museum professional, I recently worked in a school for pupils with autism. This gave me a understanding of how different learning styles can increase effective engagement with audiences.
Best day in the job so far?
After attending a Gem Foundation Course: Effective Engagement, I chaired a fun meeting where I used familiar and unfamiliar objects as metaphors for the curator and visitor to get colleagues thinking about questions visitors might ask.
