It was in my field of interest and part-time (I have a young family).
What does it entail day-to-day?
Curating the collection and house, managing the guides, volunteers and exhibitions, fundraising and developing longer-term strategies.
Most memorable experience so far?
Standing on the roof of Paxton House with the former owner, politician John Home Robertson, and seeing the estate at my feet.
