What does the role entail day to day?
As part of the history team I help to care for and interpret our history collections; this can range from researching more about the objects in our care to putting together exhibitions. I also aid external researchers with their enquiries.
What’s been the most interesting part of the job so far?
Taking the lead on the 400th anniversary exhibition for our Tolbooth Museum, and researching how local people shaped the history of this fascinating 17th-century gaol.
