The Greenwich Foundation for the Old Royal Naval College has announced the appointment of four new trustees: Rosemarie MacQueen, Desmond Shaw-Taylor, Jamaria Kong and Andrew Clark.

Computer scientist Andrew Herbert and computing historian Martin Campbell-Kelly are now trustees of The National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park. Herbert, now retired, was previously chairman of Microsoft Research in Cambridge. Campbell-Kelly is an emeritus professor in the department of computer science at the University of Warwick.

Gavan Misa has been appointed the head of gallery services at Crown Fine Art. He was previously senior project manager at Williams & Hill Forwarding.

The National Museum of Scotland has announced the appointment of Xavier Dectot, the current director of the Louvre-Lens Museum in France, as the keeper of art and design.

Mike Benson is the new director at the National Coal Mining Museum for England in Overton. He was previously the director of Bede’s World in Jarrow.

The chief executive of Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust, Bill Ferris, has been appointed as one of four new deputy lieutenants of Kent.

Scarborough Museums Trust has appointed a new chair, Paul Hollins. He is the director of the Institute of Educational Cybernetics at the University of Bolton.

Tim Marlow and Paul Potts have been made trustees of the Imperial War Museum for four years. Marlow is the artistic director at the Royal Academy of Arts, while Potts is a visiting professor of journalism at the University of Sheffield.
