Graham Boxer joins the Canal & River Trust as its new head of museums at the end of this month. He was previously the director of IWM North, Manchester.

A new senior management team at the RAF Museum is now in place. Paul Pomfret becomes its assistant director (Cosford site), after working as a manager for the National Trust of Scotland; and John Waxman becomes the assistant director of the museum’s London site, having been the general manager of the National Trust’s Cliveden property.

Philip Walsh, previously the director of finance and operations at the Wallace Collection, London, is the museum’s new chief financial officer; and Karen Whitting, the former head of creative programmes at the Royal Armouries, is the new director of public programmes.

New Tate curatorships: Natalia Sidlina becomes its adjunct research curator for Russian art and Julia Tatiana Bailey its assistant curator, collections, international art.

New trustees for Royal Museums Greenwich: academic Alison Bashford, businessman Jeremy Penn and retired admiral Mark Stanhope have been appointed for four years.

Businessman and the former deputy chairman of Camelot UK Lotteries Gerald Acher has been appointed as the chairman of the Brooklands Museum, Trust, Surrey.

Writer Robert Hewison is now a trustee of London’s Pitzhanger Manor Trust.

Businessmen David Barclay and Stephen Page have been reappointed for four years as trustees of the British Library.

Rowan Brown has left the National Mining Museum Scotland Trust where she was its director.
