The opportunity to tell the story of how people have used technology to create our world.
What does it entail day to day?
Working with the curatorial team to help tell the story of the first industrial landscape through our collection of buildings and their contents. Managing projects, budgets and staff to support all the behind-the-scenes activity that makes a museum.
What’s been the most interesting event of the job so far?
Planning the move of a five-ton steamroller into the museum on my first day.

BA, MA, museum studies diploma and a PhD.
