Andrew Bonacina has joined the Hepworth Wakefield as its chief curator. He is the former curator of Birmingham’s International Project Space.

Henrietta Boex joins the Falmouth Art Gallery this month as its new director. She had been the development project manager at the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum, Penzance.

Kerstin Mogull, currently director of strategy at Clear Channel International, joins Tate in January 2014 as its managing director.

Alison Bevan, formerly the director of Penlee House Gallery and Museum, Penzance, has become the director of the Royal West of England Academy, Bristol.

Clare O’Brien joins Chiswick House and Gardens Trust next month as its director. She is currently the director of development and marketing at the Wallace Collection, London.

Gareth Lloyd Roberts, the former producer at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff, is the new director of Aberystwyth Arts Centre.

Anita Bhalla, the chairwoman of the Creative City Partnership for the Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership, has been appointed chairwoman of the Institute of International Visual Arts.

The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation has appointed Caroline Mason as its chief executive. She was previously chief operating officer at Big Society Capital.

Sue Owen
is now the permanent secretary for the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. She joins from the Department for Work and Pensions.

The new chairman of Birmingham Museums Trust is Steve Freer.
