Museums Galleries Scotland has launched an online survey to inform its third and final delivery plan for Scotland’s national museum strategy.
The organisation is inviting staff and volunteers from museums and galleries across Scotland to complete the survey in order to give it a better insight into what decisions to make over the next four years.
Along with the survey, MGS will be holding a series of events in June to explore the six aims of the national strategy and address the feedback gathered through the survey.
A statement from the organisation said: “We will consult the sector online and through facilitated events in Edinburgh, Perth, Inverness and Dumfries. Join us at any of these facilitated sessions, where we will explore the six aims of the national strategy and will drill down on feedback gathered through the online consultation.”
The survey is open until 7 June and the new plan will be published in January 2020.
Scotland’s 10-year national strategy launched in 2012. An evaluation of its second delivery plan is also underway.
