A major new award backed by the Qatar Museums Authority is offering UK museum professionals and budding curators the chance to launch their own exhibition.
The award, which is called Curate, is co-sponsored by Fondazione Prada, the foundation run by Italian designer Miuccia Prada.
“Participation in the competition is not limited to aspiring or established curators – anyone with a great concept is encouraged to enter,” said a statement on the award website.
“The winning curatorial idea will be realised in an exhibition in either (but not limited to) Qatar and Italy.”
Entries must be submitted by 31 December. The winner will be announced in April.
