The British Council, with the support of Arts Council England (ACE), is running a study tour to Brazil with the aim of making contact and developing partnerships with leading national and regional museums in the run up to the World Cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016.
The tour is part of the British Council's Transform Museum Programme, which aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and best practice between museums in Brazil and the UK. In particular, the programme focuses on training, residency or satellite programmes, touring exhibitions, content development and programming.
Museum professionals wishing to take part are invited to apply to the British Council.
The tour is the first British Council-run UK museum delegation to Brazil and will run from 26 October to 3 November 2013.
For more information and to apply, contact Jane Weeks: jane.weeks@britishcouncil.org
The deadline for applications is Thursday 5 September.
