More than 30,000 people voted in the Museums at Night Connect10 competition to match major artists with 10 museums and gallery events for the weekend of 16-18 May.
Manchester Museum, Manchester Art Gallery and the Whitworth Art Gallery will host sculptor Richard Wentworth, while Martin Creed will give a talk at the Freud Museum in London.
The other winners are: Jerwood Gallery, Hastings (Chapman Brothers); Discovery Museum, Newcastle (Julia Vogl); Ironbridge Gorge, Coalbrookdale (Julian Wild); Horniman Museum and Gardens, London (Random International); Bristol Museum and Art Gallery (Gavin Turk); Rochdale Pioneers Museum and Touchstones Rochdale (Susan Forsyth); Backlit arts venue, Nottingham (Mat Collishaw); and the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, Scunthorpe (Cullinan & Richards).
