The winners of the Connect10 national competition, which pairs major contemporary artists and writers with venues across the UK, have been announced.
Museums and galleries had to devise event ideas that demonstrated a connection between their venue or collections and the work of one of the artists.
In an online vote, the public matched the artists, who included Martin Parr, Polly Morgan, Susan Stockwell and Ryan Gander, to the venues.
Morgan will show her taxidermy at the Victoria Gallery and Museum in Liverpool. Photographer Parr is to give a lecture on the achievements of Tom Wedgwood, son of the 18th-century English potter Josiah Wedgwood, at the Wedgwood Museum.
Connect10 is part of the Museums at Night initiative, which this year takes place on 18-20 May.
