The Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) has unveiled the panel that will review the Renaissance in the Regions programme.
It will look at whether the funding has been spent effectively and if the programme has achieved its objectives. Recommendations are expected by March 2009.
The panel, chaired by Sara Selwood (City University), comprises: Nichola Johnson (director, Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts); Hedley Swain (director of programme delivery, MLA); Mark O'Neill (head of arts and museums, Glasgow); David Fleming (director, National Museums Liverpool); Mark Taylor (director, Museums Association); Diane Lees (director, V&A Museum of Childhood); and Tim Challans (assistant director, leisure, culture and lifelong learning, Walsall council).
