The Sir John Soane's Museum, Science Museum, Wallace Collection and Imperial War Museum are new partners in the Young Graduates for Museums and Galleries training programme targeted at 16- to 18-year-olds with an interest in science and the arts.

Now into its third year, Young Graduates has attracted 100 students to its seminars, open days and two-week placements with museums, including host partner the British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Tate and Natural History Museum.

Programme director Matthew Gansallo said 11 students had changed their career path after participating.
