London's Heritage Diversity Task Force was due to complete its work at the end of last month, with the publication of its Embedding Shared Heritage report.
The task force was set up by former London mayor Ken Livingstone to instill diversity practices into the heritage sector. Makeda Coaston, senior cultural strategy officer at the mayor's office, said: "It is the end of the task force process.
"There are a number of partnerships and projects that will continue under the terms of the Mayor's Commission on African and Asian Heritage.
"This report is saying what needs to be done and what has been done."
