The devastating impact of the Covid pandemic on museums’ bank balances means attracting donations, sponsors and grants has never been more important.
Many organisations developed creative fundraising campaigns during the UK’s multiple lockdowns, while others turned to digital fundraising to reach new audiences.
From crowdfunding campaigns to working with unexpected sponsors, Museums Journal is looking to publish case studies that share different approaches to fundraising, as well as tops tips, advice and lessons learnt.
Whether your fundraising campaigns have broken new ground, or relied on traditional methods with great results, we want to hear from you.
Case studies should be about 600 words long and seek to address the following:
- Details of specific fundraising campaigns or your museum’s approach to fundraising during and after lockdown
- The challenges as well as any positive outcomes
- Your advice to others in the sector
- Your future plans
Please include your name, job title and organisation (if applicable) in your case study and any additional information such as budgets.
Please email your case study along with high-res illustrative photographs to email@example.com.
