The latest edition of Museum Practice (MP) is now online exploring how museums can create safe and inclusive spaces for visitors on the autistic spectrum.

The articles offer advice on the practical measures museums can take to enable a problem-free visit, and look at how cultural organisations are increasingly offering comprehensive programmes of events and activities that are directly linked to their collections and displays.

As well as creating inclusive spaces for visitors, MP addresses how museums are creating volunteer opportunities, work placements and paid roles for people with autism.

There are also a number of case studies from museums in the UK and beyond.
