Fellowship of the MA
Encouraging an advanced level of professional contribution
The Fellowship of the Museums Association recognises and encourages an advanced level of professional contribution, achievement and a commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by people in all areas of museum work.
The long-term future of the FMA is currently under review. The MA will therefore not accept any new applications for the Fellowship of the Museums Association (FMA) until the future of the scheme has been resolved.
Please note that those currently participating in the scheme will be supported to complete it.
The MA really values the commitment and dedication to the sector demonstrated by its Fellows. If you are interested in making an advanced level of professional contribution to museums, please contact the professional development department for advice on other ways you can work with the MA.
