Being part of a major transformation project to bring a much-loved local landmark back to life, as well as the huge potential to expand learning and engagement programmes for all ages.
What does it entail day-to-day?
Donning boots and a hard hat for regular building site tours, working on detailed exhibition plans and interpretation, operations and programming for the redone museum and park.
Highlight so far?
A donation of behind-the-scenes photographs of Ealing Studios and stunning ballet costumes worn in productions at the Royal Opera House by dancer and choreographer Darren Panton, who grew up in Hounslow.
