The British Museum (BM) has settled its dispute with the National Museum of Iran over the delayed loan of the Cyrus Cylinder.
The ancient Persian treasure, which was unveiled during a ceremony at the Tehran museum on 11 September, will feature in an exhibition until the end of the year.
In February, the National Museum of Iran cut ties with the BM after it delayed the loan of the Cyrus Cylinder following the discovery of fragments of cuneiform tablet in its collections that were inscribed with the same text as the cylinder.
It is still unclear whether Iran will seek compensation for the delay, although the BM said it had not received a claim.
The Cyrus Cylinder was last in Iran 40 years ago.
