Craft initiative unveiled

The Art Fund and the Crafts Council have launched a £50,000 funding initiative. Selected curators will be allowed to "cherry pick" works at a three-hour preview of January's Collect fair at the Victoria and Albert Museum. The Art Fund is inviting proposals from curators with craft collections or an interest in contemporary craft.

Visitors website unveiled

Kids in Museums has launched a website and discussion board for museum visitors. Visitors can leave feedback on all aspects of their museum visit on the site. Museums can access the discussion boards to learn about visitors' experiences. Museum staff are also welcome to comment.

Dundee V&A research

Research is being commissioned to investigate the feasibility of a site for the Victoria and Albert Museum in Dundee. The V&A would not manage or fund the project, but would provide its programming expertise and brand. The research will review the project's cost, including the development of an "iconic, bespoke building" to house it.
