Museum stalwarts on Birthday Honours list
Stephen Deuchar, director of the Art Fund, and Royal Armouries chairwoman Ann Green, received CBEs in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list 2010.
Deuchar was honoured for his service as director of Tate Britain from 1998 to 2009.
Green has been chairwoman of the Royal Armouries since 2003.
Alec Coles, former director of Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums and now director of the Western Australia Museum in Perth, received an OBE.
