A talk and tour that aim to illustrate how it feels to be homeless in the capital through the telling of people's stories via videos, diaries, art and poetry.
Magnificence of the Tsars, Victoria and Albert Museum, London

More than 40 rare and lavishly decorated costumes and uniforms worn by the tsars and court officials of imperial Russia will be on display, many for the first time, as part of an exchange arrangement with Moscow Kremlin Museums.
Among the outfits on show, which range from the 1720s to the early 20th century, are the coronation uniforms of the last seven Russian emperors and outfits heavily embellished with gold and silver that belonged to the boy emperor Peter II.
Lindow Moss: a Place of Finding, Manchester Museum

This photographic exhibition explores the landscape at Lindow Moss, the peat bog where the preserved body of an iron age man was found in 1985. The photographer, Stephen Vaughan, grew up next to the area in the 1970s and 1980s, returning in 2000 to undertake the four-year project of documenting Lindow Moss.

The conference will look at approaches to theorising relationships between people and the material world. It is being held in honour of Susan Pearce, an internationally renowned professor of museum studies and historical archaeologist.
The Fifth Floor: Ideas Taking Space, Tate Liverpool

The exhibition, which marks the end of Liverpool's reign as European Capital of Culture, will feature new works by more than 15 artists. The works have been inspired by asking more than 1,000 local people from a range of backgrounds what kind of exhibition they would like to experience. Among the artists represented are Tino Sehgal, from Germany, and Pawel Althamer, from Poland.
Tensile Strength - the Power of Paper, Bristol's City Museum and Art Gallery

Drawn from the museum's fine-arts collection, the exhibition will illustrate how posters have maintained their importance despite the emergence of other media. Among those on show will be 20th-century posters promoting a train trip to the coast, and satirical prints from the 18th and 19th centuries.
