As cuts to public funding continue to bite museums are looking at alternative streams of income.

The April edition of Museum Practice (MP) will explore how museums can generate income through online retail.

How should museums approach selling items online?

Among the topics addressed will be: setting up and maintaining an online shop; linking stock to collections; and promoting the service to visitors and the wider public.

Case studies should be about 300 words long and accompanied by photographs.
