Subject Specialist Networks secure funding

Two new networks given arts council money
Arts Council England has awarded nearly £680,000 to 11 Subject Specialist Networks (SSNs) for projects taking place between January and June 2020.

The funding includes support for two new networks: the Workhouse Museums Network and the War and Conflict SSN.
The Workhouse Museums Network, which is run by Norfolk Museums Service, brings together those with an interest in the history of poverty and welfare.
The War and Conflict SSN, run by Imperial War Museums (IWM), has been developed as part of the legacy of the First World War Centenary Partnership, which saw the creation of a network of more than 4,000 not-for-profit organisations, led by IWM, to mark the centenary.
