Plans afoot for a £3.5m Christian theme park with television studio
A Lancashire-based charity plans to build a £3.5m Christian theme park in the North West of England.
The AH Trust's project would include shops, cinemas and a 5,000-seater TV studio to produce Christian films.
The trust states on its website that "evolution has falsely become the foundation of our society and we need the studio to advocate Genesis across this land".
Multimedia re-creations of well-known biblical scenes will greet visitors to the park, housed in a large hangar-like building. The attraction hopes to receive private and public funding.
"We believe that this unique project will influence an end to binge drinking," said the organisers.
