Entering the museum 

What to expect from the event 

  • The event takes place in the auditorium.
  • Delegates are invited to arrive at the National Museum of Scotland from 1300 onwards to collect their badges from the MA Reception Desk and enjoy a tea or coffee with other delegates. Please arrive before 1315 if you want to take part in the optional session.
  • There is an option to take part in a session with the National Museum of Scotland Learning and Engagement team that runs from 1315-1345.
  • A cloakroom is available.
  • Delegates are invited to stay for a networking hour from 1700-1800. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.
  • Wi-Fi is freely accessible in the museum.

Access and inclusion

  • There are toilets and baby changing facilities on all levels of the museum. Accessible toilets are available on all floors. There is a Changing Places toilet in the Entrance Hall on Level 0.
  • Lifts are available to all floors. You can check the museum map or ask a member of staff for directions to the nearest lifts.
