The studio, established in 1977, provides a full conservation and restoration service to collectors, museums, churches, historic houses and the public at large. Services include: consultancy, advice on individual objects and collections, historical research, condition reports, photographic services, cleaning, after care, maintenance programs. All framing, mounting, display and exhibition requirements, storage methods, UV screening, pest control. The studio also houses a study archive along with organising textile study tours and lectures on conservation practices.
