Making sure you’re on track

Once you’ve completed the first year of your AMA, you should pause to look back over your development to date and your CPD plan – and then begin to look to the future.

To support you, we’ve developed an interim review that asks you to reflect on the extent to which you’ve developed over the last 12 months in relation to the six areas of the Competency Framework:

  • Developing Self and Others
  • Empowering Collections
  • Engaging Audiences and Communities
  • Leading and Change Making
  • Managing People, Money and Organisations
  • Sustaining Relationships and Partnerships

It should not take you more than two to five hours to complete and should provide you with focus for the year ahead.

Once you’ve completed your interim review and your mentor has signed it off, you should send it to cpd@museumsassociation.org.
