Showcase your good practice by sharing your story with us

Our museums for climate justice campaign aims to:

  • Work with museums to raise awareness by using collections, programmes, exhibitions and learning and engagement work to explore climate and ecological issues and encourage audiences to take action for climate justice.
  • Encourage museums to be the change by embedding climate action across all decision making and processes.
  • Champion change by working with all partners to implement regenerative policies.

We’re now looking for case studies demonstrating how museums across the UK are taking action to address the climate crisis. Case studies can cover net-zero initiatives, community engagement projects, school programmes, exhibitions and public programming.

Case studies should be around 300-600 words and include at least one high-resolution image. A suggested case study structure is outlined below:

  • Background to the organisation, project or intervention
  • What did you do?
  • How did you do it?
  • What were the results and outcomes?
  • What were the learnings or legacies?
