Who got the job?
Emma Yandle
Communications administrator, Foundling Museum, London
Advertised: MJ online, November 2014
What attracted you to this post? I was looking to move to a marketing role in the arts industry, having worked in the private sector since graduation. The more I looked into the story of the Foundling Hospital, the more I wanted to be a part of sharing it with the public.
What does the job involve? At the start of a new season I work on the copy for our “what’s on” guide and website. I also keep in touch with our supporters through monthly e-newsletters and social media. I enjoy sharing stories from our collection or pictures about our exhibition with our online community. We often have crews from BBC and ITV getting in touch to film at the museum, which is exciting.
Qualifications BA English language and literature, St. Anne’s College, Oxford.
