Who got the job?

What attracted you to this post?
I’ve always been a fan of open-air museums because of the immersive experience they offer visitors. I wanted a new challenge working with a fantastic collection covering a diverse range of industries and transport.
What does it entail day to day?
A typical day can start in the office writing exhibition text and end in overalls inspecting the underneath of a vintage car or trolleybus. The constant changes in work clothing reflect the variety of the job.
What’s been the highlight so far?
Completing the restoration of a 1920s tram and seeing visitors enjoy a ride in it for the first time in 20 years.
