Freelancers and consultants are an essential part of the museum sector’s ecosystem – contributing their expertise and specialist skills, fresh perspective and support around skills development to museums big and small.

Whether you are entirely self-employed or balance freelance work alongside in-house roles, this is an essential event to support your journey. This event is aimed at people considering the move to freelance as well as those already working as a freelancers or consultants but want more support with the realities of self-employment.

A full programme will be available in due course.

Please note that this event will be recorded and available exclusively to delegates for three months. After that time, it will be made available to members on the Museums Association website.

We aim to present a diverse range of speakers from across the UK and internationally at our one-day conferences. If you are interested in speaking at one of our events, or have a project you’d like to see explored, please tell us more by emailing the Events Team.
