Museums Association website redesign
As you can see, we have redesigned our website, with a new look, wider pages, bigger and better images, and new menus to make it easier to find the content that you want.
New features include comments at the end of selected articles, such as this one, and a new colour scheme. Over the coming months we will be introducing RSS feeds to keep you up to speed on the latest news, jobs and events, and polls to guage your opinion on vital issues.
We think that the new design, besides looking and feeling more contemporary, is a better way to navigate around the 4,000 pages of content and archive material on our site. We hope that you agree.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our users who took part in our website user survey last year - this provided us with a very useful foundation for the choices that we made when implementing the design – and to congratulate Victoria Wills, the winner of the website user survey prize draw, who won a year’s free membership of the Museums Association.
If you have any comments about the design, or come across any issues, then please let us know. Whether you are enamoured with it or quietly wishing it never changed (though obviously we are hoping you love it as much as we do), we would like to hear from you.
