Visit the new Careers Hub and a diverse range of MP workshops
The upcoming Museums Association's (MA) Exhibition 2016 – taking place 7-8 November at Glasgow SECC - is running its most extensive programme of events yet.
The exhibition, which runs alongside the MA conference and is free of charge to attend, will offer a range of free sessions and workshops throughout both days.

Visitors can attend find out more about developing a career in museums at our brand new Careers Hub, which will run a range of sessions on professional development.

There’s a diverse programme of Museum Practice Workshops on offer, including sessions on how technology can uncover hidden collections and putting regional heritage on the map.

And as always, visitors will have the chance to network with leading suppliers and companies in the museum sector, test out an exciting range of products and benefit from special offers available on the exhibition floor.

The MA’s marketing officer Zoe Spencer said: “This year’s exhibition offers more free content than ever before. Alongside the Museum Practice Workshops, we’re really excited to introduce the new Careers Hub programme, which gives visitors and delegates access to sessions on a range of professional development issues.

“Visitors will also be able to meet and get ideas from top companies working with museums, and catch some on-stand demonstrations and special offers.”

Entrance to the exhibition is free but visitors should register online in advance (conference delegates will be automatically registered).
