Watch Mat Fraser’s conference keynote
The Museums Association (MA) is making the first of the four keynotes from the Museums Association Conference & Exhibition 2014 in Cardiff available to individual members today.

MA individual members can log-in to the site to watch Mat Fraser’s keynote Cabinet Of Curiosities: How Disability Was Kept In A Box.

The keynote draws from a performance piece commissioned as part of Stories of a Different Kind, a project led by the Research Centre for Museums and Galleries at the University of Leicester in collaboration with the Hunterian Museum, the Science Museum and others.

Exploring how disability is presented in museums, Fraser’s keynote tailored the performance especially for the conference, with a focus on objects in St Fagans National History Museum in Cardiff.

Hello,

Will this video be available on here on 5 Dec? I want to share it with colleagues at a meeting on 5 Dec. Or, can I get a download version? Thanks, Jude.
