Museums Association (MA) members based in or around London are invited to the upcoming London Members’ Meeting, which takes place at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich on Thursday 17 November.

Free to attend for all individual, institutional and corporate members, the meeting will be a great opportunity to network with colleagues from other museums, galleries and heritage sites and hear more about the work of the MA.

It will feature interactive sessions on the MA’s policies, workforce strategy and its flagship Museums Change Lives campaign, as well as the funding we offer and how we can help support your advocacy work and career.

The meeting is also an opportunity for the MA to learn more about the challenges facing museums, galleries and heritage sites in the Greater London area.
Afterwards, attendees will have a chance to chat to colleagues over a glass of wine and explore the museum.

The MA’s head of publications and events, Simon Stephens, said: “The London Members’ Meeting will be a great chance to network with museum colleagues, discuss the MA’s policies and find out more about the funding and career development opportunities we offer.”

The meeting takes place from 3pm to 7pm on 17 November at the National Maritime Museum.
