Still time to present at Conference 2017

Deadline for MP workshop proposals is 31 March
Museums and suppliers are invited to submit proposals to deliver a practical Museum Practice (MP) workshop at the Museums Association's (MA) Conference and Exhibition 2017 in Manchester.

MP workshops take place in the exhibition and are free for visitors, exhibitors and conference delegates to attend.

The programme is designed to offer practical, insightful and case study-led content under four distinct themes: careers; technology and digital; audiences, learning and engagement; and collections, interpretation and exhibition design.

Delivering an MP workshop gives companies, consultants and museum professionals an opportunity to showcase recent projects, products or services, and lead discussion in a specific area of expertise.

The MA Conference and Exhibition takes place on 16-18 November at the Manchester Conference Centre, and is one of the biggest networking opportunities for museum professionals in Europe.

“MP workshops are an important part of the MA Conference and Exhibition as they provide an opportunity to share best practice with a range of professionals,” said Simon Stephens, head of events and publications at the MA.

“If you’ve delivered an innovative project in the past year, or want to share your work with your peers, then we want to hear from you.”

The deadline for submitting a proposal is 31 March.
