Free entry to nearly 900 venues and exhibitions for Museums Association members
A growing number of museums, galleries and heritage sites around the UK are offering free entry to their venues and exhibitions for Museums Association members.

Just some of the museums participating in the Members Guide include the Galleries of Justice Museum in Nottingham, Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge, the British Museum in London, Bowes Museum in County Durham, Bolton Museum, Bury Art Museum, Ulster Museum in Northern Ireland, National Galleries of Scotland, the Booth Museum in Brighton, Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro, Powysland Museum in Wales, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, and Leeds Art Gallery.

Members can now also gain free entry to exhibitions at all Historic Royal Palaces venues and all of Tate’s galleries.

Emma Mitchinson, the Museums Association’s sales and marketing assistant, said: “The Members Guide is a wonderful resource for our members. It is great that so many museums are taking part and very pleasing in the current environment that museums are helping out other professionals to share best practice in this way.

“For our members it also means that membership virtually pays for itself over the course of a handful of visits to museums and exhibitions.”
