Discounted places available at the MA’s conference in Manchester until 30 April
Time is running out to book discounted places at the Museums Association’s (MA) Conference and Exhibition 2017, which will take place at Manchester Central from 16-17 November.
The super early-bird discount rate will apply to conference fees until 30 April. A further discount is available for members of the MA.

The conference fee also includes a programme of tours and events on Saturday 18 November.

Simon Stephens, the MA’s head of publications and events, says: “We would encourage people to take advantage of this fantastic offer while they can.

"The MA conference brings together museum, gallery and heritage professionals from the UK and the rest of the world to discuss the future of the sector and share new ideas and innovations.

"Inspiring speakers will share their ideas for how museums can develop deeper relationships with their audiences and use their collections to have a real impact. Visits to Manchester's fantastic museums and galleries will allow delegates to see this work in action."
The Conference and Exhibition, which is one of the biggest networking opportunities for museum professionals in Europe, will explore the following themes: audiences, collections and workforce.

The sessions will explore a number of topics, including the role museums can play in healing some of society’s divisions; how they should reflect contemporary issues such as poverty, climate change and globalisation in their programming; connecting with new audiences; and leadership, diversity and skills development.
