Campaign to protect local arts communities from cuts

The MA is encouraging members to sign up for I Value the Arts, a campaign launched recently mobilising the public to oppose government cuts to local arts communities.

I Value the Arts aims to get arts organisations and members of the public more involved in advocacy at a local level.

Everyone who signs up will be sent an email detailing threats to arts organisations in their area. Those interested in taking further action can download promotional posters, logos and flyers, as well as online marketing material, from the campaign website.

To pledge your support, sign the petition on the I Value the Arts website (see link below). The campaign is also urging organisations to collect signatures front-of-house.

Artists and organisations can support the campaign more creatively by designing promotional material themselves or donating ad space on leaflets free of charge.
