Next phase of MCL to launch at Wales Members' Meeting

Free networking event on 24 May at National Waterfront Museum
The Museums Association has announced the programme for its Members’ Meeting in Swansea on 24 May at Amgueddfa Genedlaethol y Glannau (National Waterfront Museum), which will include the launch of the next phase of its Museums Change Lives campaign.

The event, which is free to attend for all MA individual and corporate members, as well as those staff whose institutions are members, takes place from 2pm to 6pm.

Speakers include: Tom Cosson, the senior culture & poverty adviser and Fusion programme manager at Museums Archives and Libraries Division, Welsh Government; Heledd Fychan, the corporate affairs and advocacy manager for National Museum Wales and an MA board member; Sharon Heal, the MA's director; and Steph Mastoris, the head of the National Waterfront Museum.

The event will end with networking and the launch of the next phase of Museums Change Lives, the MA’s campaign to enhance the positive social impact that museums can deliver working with their communities.

Before the meeting, the MA is running advice sessions on applying to the Esmée Fairbairn Collections Fund. Professional development advice sessions are also on offer.
