The Museums Association (MA) has launched additional guidance to its revised Code of Ethics.

The guidance includes best practice examples and case studies, links to relevant legal frameworks, and other relevant codes of practice.

Sharon Heal, the MA's director, says: "The new Code of Ethics contains the three principles that we should all work to: public benefit and engagement; collections stewardship; and institutional and individual integrity.

"The new guidance provides up-to-date information and links to legal frameworks and other support that can help people in their day-to-day practice.

"The MA is happy to provide training and support to people who would like to work with the new Code of Ethics and our Ethics Committee will be championing ethical good practice over the course of the next year."
