Applications open from 5 June
The Museums Association (MA) is to launch the latest round of funding for its Transformers: Influence scheme, designed to harness the social power of museums to develop active partnerships within their communities.

The programme, which is open for applications from 5 June, will include two learning days, drawing from the Transformers Toolkit of Leading Self and Impacting Others, and a third day, where participants will gather and reflect on their learning.

The scheme is open to museum staff, freelancers and volunteers from all the nations of the UK, who want to make change in their museums and communities.

The MA’s inclusion manager, Jess Turtle, says: "After a pilot year of Transformers: Influence in 2017, we are delighted to launch a refined version of the programme, which will support participants to increase their personal influence and the social impact of their work.

"Museums have an important role to play in a fast changing world and we are seeking committed and passionate individuals to join an internationally renowned network responding creatively to these changes."
