Booking open for MA Conference & Exhibition
Early-bird booking is now open for the Museums Association (MA) Conference & Exhibition 2015 in Birmingham.

Prices are currently frozen at last year’s early-bird rate, and booking has opened earlier to give organisations the option to purchase places from their 2014-15 budgets.

A new international rate has also been added.

Birmingham promises to be a fantastic conference with emerging themes around diversity, engagement, the maker movement, and education and partnerships.

Simon Stephens, the MA’s head of publications and events, said: “Birmingham, with its fantastic range of museums and art galleries, is a great place to hold the MA's annual conference.

“It's such a diverse and exciting city and we are going to reflect that with a wide range of challenging and stimulating speakers and lots of debate about the future of museums.

"We've had more proposals for sessions than ever before, from all over the UK and from overseas, which is really pleasing.

"The MA's conference panel, which is made up of museum and gallery professionals from the Midlands, is helping us put together a really exciting programme, which will include lots of networking opportunities, social events, behind-the-scene tours, training and career development opportunities and much more."

Birmingham 2015 takes place on 5-6 November.
