Funding, arts policy and museum ethics are among the issues to be tackled
Keynote speakers at the Museums Association Conference and Exhibition 2015 include Darren Henley, the chief executive of Arts Council England; Peter Luff, the chairman of the Heritage Lottery Fund; Sally Yerkovich, the director of the Institute of Museum Ethics; and David Fleming, the president of the Museums Association (MA).

Delegates at Birmingham 2015 will be able to get a complete picture of the funding landscape and the key issues facing the UK museum sector, while Yerkovich’s keynote will explore global ethical issues.

Simon Stephens, the MA’s head of events and publications, said: “Conference is a great chance to hear sector leaders talk about how they see museums, galleries and heritage sites developing in the future.

“We have a fantastic line-up of keynote speakers this year, promising a thought-provoking and informative couple of days in Birmingham.”
