Week-long festival celebrates the opening of new spaces from 30 June
The V&A will unveil its Exhibition Road Quarter, designed by architects AL_A, this Friday 30 June, alongside a week-long public festival.

From Friday, visitors will be able to visit the newly-completed Sainsbury Gallery, Sackler Courtyard, and Blavatnik Hall as part of the museum's Reveal festival, which runs from 30 June to 7 July.

The festival will include specially-commissioned performances from choreographer Botis Seva, artist Mira Calix, fashion-designer Molly Goddard, and youth choir the New Young Voice Collective.

Tristram Hunt, the V&A's director, said: "The Reveal festival looks set to be a high point of the London summer - a wonderful way to celebrate the biggest moment for the V&A in a century.

"From flying sculptures down Exhibition Road to light installations on the Victorian walls of our buildings, the festival will bring the architecture to life."

The festival, which will also see events at the Science Museum, Imperial College, Natural History Museum, Royal College of Music, and the Royal Albert Hall, is free to attend.
